QUALIFICATIONS

SITE SPECIFIC INSTRUCTORS AWARD

This scheme is for individuals who wish to instruct top roping and bouldering on their own climbing wall but who do not hold the Single Pitch Award or the Climbing Wall Award. The course consists of a one day training session at the Bristol Climbing Centre followed by a logged consolidation period at their own wall. Candidates can assist experienced instructors at the centre or their own wall. Following the completion of this period they can then be assessed to instruct independently.
