Competition Dates For 2008 / 2009 Series
All Bristol Climbing Centre competitions are friendly and win or lose the majority of competitors have a good time. The emphasis is definitely on fun. All competitions cater for a full range of abilities and ages. Normal entry rates apply on the day but there is no additional charge for entering the competition, yes they're FREE. All competitors are automatically entered into a prize draw so everyone has a chance of winning something. For further details see information on specific competitions.
Bouldering Series
- Round 1: Thu 16th October (4pm, 5:45pm, 7:30pm)
- Round 2: Sat 8th November at the Climbing Festival (10am, 12pm, 2pm)
- Round 3: Thu 11th December (4pm, 5:45pm, 7:30pm)
- Round 4: Thu 15th January (4pm, 5:45pm, 7:30pm)
- Round 5: Thu 12th February (4pm, 5:45pm, 7:30pm)
Roped And Other Climbing Competitions
- 4th October to 10th October - BMC Leading Ladder Round 1
- Sat 8th November - Climbing Festival including Bouldering Series Round 2
- Sat 13th December - Winter Youth Climbing Competition (9am - 5pm)
- 31st January to 15th February - BMC Leading Ladder Round 2
- Mon 26th January - Inter Schools Climbing Competition (1:30pm - 7pm)
- Thu 12th March - Bouldering Competition and Boot Demo (from 4pm)
- Sat April (tbc) - BMC Youth Climbing Series (BRYCS)
