Our Movement and Technique sessions are aimed at new, inexperienced or un-coached climbers and this is the single easiest way to improve technique in a very short space of time – probably the best 180 minutes you will ever invest in your climbing.
This course is ran over 3 x 1 hour sessions
This knowledge is essential for the development of both roped-climbers and boulders alike. We keep the maximum group size to 6 so that everyone gets the most learning time out of the session. The first 2 weeks covers footwork, body positioning, twist locking, holds, rockovers, flagging and body tension. The final session looks at dynamic movement, route reading, training basics, spotting and complementary activities.
Can’t wait? These set of sessions at UCR are adapted from our well loved Movement and Technique course at TCA, although slightly adapted for those climbing routes the foundation and knowledge is the same. So if you wish to get on this set of courses immediately you can book on at TCA
